Allegiant Releases 2023 Sustainability Report

LAS VEGAS, October. 8, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT), today announced the release of its third-annual Sustainability Report.

Last year, Allegiant announced goals to enhance sustainability initiatives across the business to better serve its employees, customers, shareholders and the community. Allegiant’s 2023 Sustainability Report documents the progress made in these areas. It represents a growing culture of stewardship at Allegiant, where the commitment of stakeholders, and the company’s growing commitment, leads to meaningful progress on key issues related to the environment, safety, and customer experience.

Progress towards Decarbonization: Following last year’s announcement, Allegiant has set a goal to start decarbonization internally United States’ ULCC category: reduce tank-to-wake greenhouse gas emissions by 10 percent per ton-kilometer by 2030 versus the 2023 baseline. IOSA Certification on Track for 2026: Safety is a top priority at Allegiant. Excellence in Customer Satisfaction: In addition to its operational and environmental performance, Allegiant has received significant recognition in customer satisfaction this year, winning many awards, including SkyTrax’s “Best Low-Cost Airline” in. In 2023, the airline exceeded its goal of completing a controllable 99.5%, finishing with a rate of 99.8% for the year.
